Every Food Program giveaway is more than boxes and bags.
It is a widow waiting for groceries she cannot easily obtain herself.
It is a senior citizen trying to make a fixed income stretch another week.
It is a family deciding whether to buy groceries, medicine, or pay a utility bill.
It is a parent hoping there will be enough food until payday.
It is a driver delivering food to someone who may not have anyone else coming that day.
When you volunteer, you are not simply moving food.
You are carrying hope.
You are helping answer someone's prayer.
You are demonstrating the love of Jesus through practical acts of service.
